AT& T to offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e starting september 27th. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S5e, a useful tablet with specs lower than those belonging to the flagship Galaxy Tab S6. The LTE version of the 64 GB tablet is available on Verizon from late July for 24 monthly payments of $19.99, $379.99 with a two-year contract and $479.99 for direct retail purchase. Today AT&T has announced that it will also offer the LTE version of the list starting Friday, September 27th.
When it matches its rival, AT&T will also label the tablet with a retail price of $479.99. But instead of paying for the device for 24 months, AT&T customers can make 30 monthly payments of $ 16 to pay for the Galaxy Tab S5e. The tablet is light, weighs less than a pound and has a thickness of 5.5 mm. It has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a widescreen format of 16:10.
Galaxy Tab S5e specs
Under the hood, you’ll find the Snapdragon 670 mobile platform. It is with 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of storage space. Those looking for additional storage space can access the 512GB microSD slot of the tablet’s capacity. A 13 MP camera adorns the back of the Galaxy Tab S5e and there’s an 8 MP front camera for selfies. A battery capacity of 7040 mAh keeps the lights on “all day” and Android 9 Pie is pre-installed. Users can unlock the tablet using facial recognition (a less secure 2D system) or using the device’s fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy Tab S5e features a four-speaker configuration set by AKG and the optional Book Cover keyboard not only protects the tablet but also adds a physical QWERTY keyboard.
If you don’t need LTE connectivity, Amazon has the 64GB Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab S5e available for $ 397.99. Note that earlier this year it was reported that the Wi-Fi version of the tablet would lose connectivity. When the user kept the lower-left corner of the device. We haven’t heard about it lately, so the hope is that Samsung was able to solve this problem in the following production cycles.
